Dorothy remembers going to the barn and helping Mama Lancaster and Mama hold the sheep while Mama Lancaster and Mama sheared the sheep.
Dorothy remembers going with Geneva to milk. Geneva had a big bucket and I had a little red jelly bucket. Junior would follow us and get a stick and poke the old cow and the cow would kick the milk over and spill it. I would cry. Geneva would say "don't cry, I will get him one of these days." Junior poked the cow again and Geneva squirted him in the face with the milk.
