This deed of conveyance, Made at Wayne County, Tenn., this the 28 day of September, 1907, between P. H. Butler party of the first part, and J. R. Butler party of the second part, Witnesseth: That the part of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty-five Dollars, cash in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by the these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey to the party of the second part all that tract of lot of land lying in the County of Lauderdale, State of Alabama, known and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning on the waters the spout spring branch in the 7 civil District of said County, Beginning at and on a small white-oak and pointers, the South East corner of the two hundred acres survey; thence West 186-1/2 poles to a stake and pointers; thence North 86 poles to a stake; thence East 186-1/2 poles to a stake on the East boundary line; thence South 86 poles to the beginning, containing by estimation One Hundred acres more or less, together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold to the party of the second part, ___heirs and assigns, in fee simple, forever. And the party of the first part hereby agree to warrant and defend the title to the land herein conveyed to the party of the second part against the claims of all persons whomsoever. I, J. M. Richardson, a Justice of the Peace in and for the State and County aforesaid, do hereby certify that P. H. Butler whose name is signed to the foregoing conveyance, and who is known to me, acknowledged before me on this day, that being informed of the contents of the conveyance, he executed the same voluntarily on the day the same bears date.
